Aim of the workshop:
To create one's own coat of arms according to the rules of heraldry (science of coats of arms)
Course of the session :
- Introduction, commented "coat of arms hunt" in the main courtyard and the castle
- Discovery of the origin, rules and interest of heraldry through the adventures of "Gaston the Coat of Arms
(for kindergarteners and first graders) or an exchange with the guide, illustrated by concrete examples (for older children)
- Creation of personalised coats of arms, step by step (with a motto for secondary school children)
- Grouping of children to photograph the class coat of arms if time permits
