The guide takes the children on a tour of a real underground fortress. From the former home of the Lords of Brézé to the deepest dry moat in Europe, via the exceptional 15th and 16th century underground defence system and many other outbuildings, the castle's troglodytic network bears witness to its history like an open book.
Above ground, the elegant 16th-19th century castle, still inhabited, welcomes young visitors. The visit presents them with "Castle life" from the kitchens, the servants' flats, but also the Grand Gallery of the Marquis de Dreux-Brézé, as well as the flats of Monseigneur de Dreux-Brézé, classified as a historical monument.
"What are the differences between a Renaissance and a medieval castle? "Why take shelter underground?
All the children's questions will be answered during the visit!
